Lucky the Leprechaun

Aubrie came home from school a few days ago and informed me that we needed to leave some treats out for Lucky on St. Patrick's Day. So last night the kids prepared their "presents" for Lucky along with notes.

Logan's present was very simple. It started out as a chocolate covered caramel. However, he held it in his hand too long and it started to melt. So then it just looked like a terd! I was trying so hard not to laugh as I wrote his note to Lucky. It says, "Lucky, this is for you. Eat this (poor Lucky!). What is your middle name? Logan"

The girls got a little more involved. They made Lucky a bachelor pad from their Barbie furniture complete with Aubrie's mp3 player. Here's what Aundi's note said, "The food on the plate is for you!" Ok, nice and simple. Here's Aubrie's note: "Dear Lucky, I hope you find the rado (radio). I hope find the button on the side. The swich on the top is to go to the next song. The thigs that hang down from it you put in your ears to listen. If you want to write, please do! I wish I had my ears pearst and I want to now if Matt likes me." (To which, Dean about had a heart attack.) Lucky responded to the last statement by saying, "Who wouldn't like you? You are a sweet girl." The next morning when Aubrie showed me Lucky's answer, the Matt part was crossed out!
