So Dean and I were married nine years ago today in Salt Lake City, UT.
I've done some reflecting today and, between the two of us, here's what progress we have made in those nine years:
1. Moved 8 times & lived in 6 different cities
2. Received 2 undergraduate degrees and 1 master's degree
3. Been pregnant for 3 years and 9 months
4. Had five healthy children
5. Held 5 part-time jobs and 3 full-time positions
6. Gained 40 lbs (although, to be fair, I am still losing baby weight)
7. Owned 5 cars
8. TV, then and now: then--my Grandpa's old RCA color set (so old that it didn't have a power button; you pushed the volume up to turn it on), now--40" Samsung LCD mounted on our wall
9.Biggest fights, then and now: then--one of our biggest fights after we were first married was about which drawer the silverware was going to go in--I'm serious! It was a real adjustment for me not to get my way all the time, now--which one of us is going to get up with the kids on Saturday morning
Overall, what a great 9 years! I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Happy Anniversary! Has it been that long for you guys already? WOW! It was so fun reading your "Then and Now" statements. How incredible. Hope you have a great celebration.

Your Aunt Jan P. sent me your link. I'm Mike's daughter, Dani. I remember seeing Aubrie at the reunion and she was just a baby. You two have been blessed with four more beautiful children, how amazing!
